When it comes to the Ruff House daycare, our focus is safer dog-to-human ratios. We strive to accomplish this with smaller play groups and fun, safe activities to keep them on their toes…we mean paws.

In order for your pooch to thrive, our well trained Pack Leaders will assess each dog on their first day to make sure they are enjoying group play. If they aren’t having fun romping with others, we will suggest other possible ideas that might better suite their personality.

During a daycare session, the Pack Leaders in the playroom will monitor your pup to make sure they are safe and having fun interacting with the other dogs in the room. If at any point your dog gets scared or overwhelmed, our Leaders will intervene.

Dogs will be dogs! They will run, chase, be chased, fall down, bark, trip, pull on each other’s ears and tumble around. To pet parents, this play could look worrisome, but this is standard dog play.

Packages will never expire. We encourage weekly or bi-weekly visits and must limit visits to twice weekly to prevent burnout.

Boarding

Rest assured your pup will be safe and secure in their personal 6’x4’ suite. Our attentive staff will provide your dog with multiple outdoor breaks scheduled through the day.

To make your dog feel more comfortable our facility plays soothing and relaxing music over our speaker system. Feel free to bring a comfort object such as a blanket to our facility during drop off.

Be sure to ask about our Enrichment Activity upgrade during check-in. This might include treat puzzles, snuffle mats or other creative activities.

Dogpark

Ruff House is Fort Wayne’s first and only climate-controlled indoor park for dogs and dog lovers. Enjoy over 6,000 square feet of wide open space where members and visitors can roam, exercise, socialize, and have fun…all year round!

Our large park area is suitable for dogs over 25lbs and our smaller enclosed park is for dogs less than 25lbs. Both areas are fully equipped with canine-grade turf and complete drainage systems. Each park is cleaned and treated daily with anti-microbial and anti-bacterial dog-safe solutions.

Self-Wash Bathing Tub

If your dirty pup needs a bath or a brush, feel free to ask about our grooming stations! We have two giant stainless steel tubs that can fit any size dog. We also provide several varieties of shampoos, while offering brushes, nail clippers, and dryers. Everything your pooch needs to look their best!
